SEPCOIII hires Juru to perform Engineering Design for the first 100 MW PV project in Uzbekistan
#News September 12, 2020

Back in July 2020, Juru Energy was hired by SEPCOIII, a major Chinese EPC company, to provide engineering design services for the first utility scale solar PV plant in Uzbekistan, owned by Masdar. Over the period of three month, Juru’s design engineers will provide detailed design development and adaptation services for the solar PV plant and full detailed design services for the 220 kV connecting substation and 220 kV transmission line. During the construction, Juru will provide on-site design supervision services for both the PV plant and the grid connection facilities. This is a major milestone for Juru and demonstrates our ability to take on challenging projects for which there is little indigenous experience. The design timeline is also record tight for Uzbekistan and we are pleased to be able to progress well despite various challenges along the way. This contract follows Juru’s successful completion of the power evacuation study for this project for the project owner, Masdar.
